2. Data Collection and Usage Disclosure

The extension collects and processes only the minimum data necessary to fulfill its explicit single purpose: extracting, formatting, and organizing authorized student administrative records and photos for academic institutional workflow management.

A. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) & Student Records

• Types of Data Collected: Student National Identification Number (NIN), Baccalaureate Registration Number, Baccalaureate Matricule, Full Name, Father's Name, Mother's Name, Place of Birth, Date of Birth, Municipality of Residence, Academic Specialty, RFID Card Number, and Administrative Status.
• Collection Method: Read directly from HTML table rows and Livewire component data structures on authorized pages of https://webonou.mesrs.dz/*.
• Purpose & Usage: Parsed locally to generate enriched Excel reports (.xlsx) requested directly by the user.

B. Authentication Data

• Types of Data Collected: User account credentials (username and password) and encrypted session token (JWT Token).
• Collection Method: Entered explicitly by the authorized user into the extension popup login interface.
• Purpose & Usage: Transmitted via HTTPS to TecByt's secure authentication server (https://tecbyt.com/api/login) strictly to verify user license status. Passwords are never stored locally in plain text.

C. Website Content & Media Files

• Types of Data Collected: Student profile photo URLs and image files served on webonou.mesrs.dz.
• Collection Method: Extracted from Livewire snapshots and active DOM <img> elements during user-initiated scraping sessions.
• Purpose & Usage: Downloaded directly to the user's local disk under Downloads/UHBM/ in organized subfolders (UHBM/NIN, UHBM/BAC, UHBM/RFID, UHBM/code_photo) for official institutional archive requirements.

3. Data Sharing and Third-Party Disclosures

We strictly enforce a ZERO Third-Party Data Sharing Policy:

• No Data Sharing: Student records, extracted data, and photos are NEVER shared with, sold to, or rented to third parties, data brokers, or external servers.
• No Advertising or Tracking: We do not use user data for advertising, remarketing, credit assessment, or cross-site tracking.
• Third Parties Involved: None. The only external connection made by the extension is to TecByt's authentication server (https://tecbyt.com) strictly for verifying active subscription credentials.

4. Data Storage, Retention, and Security

• Local Browser Storage: All extracted student data, Excel maps, and pagination states are stored 100% locally within your browser using chrome.storage.local.
• Local File Storage: Downloaded photos and generated Excel files are saved directly to the user's local file system (Downloads directory).
• Data Security: All data transmissions between the extension and TecByt servers use industry-standard HTTPS/SSL encryption. Data stored in chrome.storage.local is sandboxed and accessible only by the extension on your device.
• Data Retention & Deletion: Extracted data remains in local storage until the user explicitly clicks the "Clear Data" (مسح البيانات) button in the popup or uninstalls the extension.

5. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The extension complies fully with the Chrome Web Store's Limited Use Policy:

• Data usage is strictly limited to providing and improving the core user-facing features of the extension.
• Data is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide core authentication features.
• Data is not used or transferred for serving advertisements, personalized ads, or data monetization.
• Data is not used or transferred to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

6. User Rights, Controls, and Data Removal

Users maintain complete control over their data at all times:

• Instant Data Deletion: You can clear all cached student data, Excel maps, and photo download history anytime by clicking "Clear Data" (مسح البيانات) in the extension popup.
• Account Logout: You can log out from the TecByt authentication session at any time via the popup interface.
• Extension Removal: Uninstalling the extension automatically removes all extension local storage from your browser.
